EDAYA has been actively working on weaving a network of people engaged in bamboo, especially in the field of arts and crafts. We believe in the importance of exchanging knowledge and experiences and collaborating to make the world a better place. Below are some examples of such lines of work.
Bamboo Research in Indonesia &Vietnam
EDAYA visited Vietnam and Indonesia as a part of the Japan Foundation fellowship program to weave a network among people who engage in work related to bamboo, art, tradition, innovation, and regional revitalization. As this project shows, we are passionate about meeting like-minded people to exchange knowledge and learn from each other’s practices.
World Bamboo Congress & Workshop
We participated in the World Bamboo Congress (WBC) 2018 in Mexico as booth exhibitors, and the World Bamboo Workshop 2022 in Vietnam as builders. Edgar also attended the World Bamboo Workshop 2019 in India as a participant, and both of us participated in WBC 2024 in Taiwan.
