EDAYA organized the event celebrated “Cordillera Bamboo Day 2019” at Ibaloy park, on September 22nd. Many Bamboo enthusiasts joined our event and enjoyed talk event with various guests, music and dance performances. One of the highlights is the cultural performance of the daycare pupils of Bnanga Daycare Center at Tuding in Itodon, Benguet.
EDAYAが主催した「Cordillera Bamboo Day 2019」の式典が、9月22日にバギオのイバロイ公園にて行われました。竹にまつわる音楽やダンス、トークイベントなどのパフォーマンスを行い、たくさんの竹の愛好家たちが集まりました。メインイベントの一つは、デイケアの子ども達によるコーディレラ文化のパフォーマンスでした。
We invited various guests such as musicians, bamboo artists, officers from our local governments and the DENR(Department of Environment and Natural Resources), and researchers at university of the Philippines and Tohoku University in Japan.
また、音楽家、竹の工芸家、地方自治体や環境省の職員、フィリピン大学や東北大学の研究者など、他分野のゲストたちを招待しました。
We made some great Bamboo installations. This is the fifth year since we organized this event. We are very happy that it was a huge success this year too. We cannot wait to cerebrate “Cordillera Bamboo Day” next year!
今年も壮大な竹のインスタレーションを作成しました。このイベントを運営して、今年で５年目を迎えます。今年もイベントを成功させることができて、とても嬉しいです。来年の「Bamboo Day」も楽しみです！
